Canadian Piercing Education Series
Education. Community. Professional Growth.
The Canadian Piercing Education Series (CPES) is a Canadian-led educational conference created by piercer Amus Beasto to support continuing education, safer piercing practices, and stronger community connection within the professional piercing industry.

What began as a small educational event has continued to grow into a conference focused on collaboration, accessibility, professionalism, and raising standards within the Canadian piercing community.

Our Story
The Canadian Piercing Education Series was created independently by Amus Beasto before the formation of the Canadian Professional Piercers Association (CPPA). The original goal was simple: create accessible, high-quality piercing education in Canada and provide opportunities for Canadian piercers to connect, learn, and grow together without always needing to travel internationally for continuing education. As the event grew, it became clear there was a larger need for ongoing education, professional support, and community-building within the Canadian piercing industry. That vision eventually helped inspire the creation of the CPPA. Today, CPES and CPPA exist alongside one another with shared values around education, professionalism, safer piercing practices, and industry growth — while remaining separate initiatives. CPES continues to focus on creating welcoming, educational spaces where piercers at all levels can learn, share knowledge, and build meaningful connections within the industry.
